Each package is one line in a file in `config/`:

Those are the original repo's choices; your fork keeps, removes or adds
lines.

## Add one

Find its exact name, then add a line to the right file:

```sh
brew search <name>
```

- **`brew cask <name>`** for apps, fonts and prebuilt binaries.
- **`brew formula <name>`** for command-line tools.
- **`brew tap <owner/repo>`** for a third-party package source, before the
  packages that come from it.

Then `dot apply apps` (or `packages`, `fonts`). An app you already installed
by hand is adopted, as long as it's the same version; adopting may ask for
your password.

`dot explain brew cask <name>` shows what a package is, its version, and
whether it's installed.

## Remove one

Removing a line doesn't uninstall anything: dot only ever installs. Uninstall
with `brew uninstall <name>` if you want it gone.
